popular type is the woven wire mesh. All our meshes are made from
pure and solid metals, are the genuine article and in that capacity

The four main types of mesh that we supply are woven, perforated,
assembled and expanded. These all describe processes that can be
undertaken to create decorative mesh from sheets or strips of
metal. Mesh is a term that can be used to describe a material that
is either made from individual strands that are organized and held
together in such a way as to form a grille, or a sheet that has
been punched, slotted or stretched to fill it with holes. A mesh
can be made of almost any material that can be formed into strands
or sheets.
Decorative plating for decorative wire mesh
Decorative plating is an electrodeposition process in which a thin
layer of brass, nickel, chromium, or copper is deposited on the
surface of a wire mesh in a slot dip procedure. A decorative
antique plating finish can really bring out the texture of woven
wire mesh in a way that other paints cannot. The thin layer of
metal does not hide the details of the metal mesh, but highlights
it. The antique plating process introduces a dark oxide layer on
top of the bright plated alloy. The visual depth is then physically
eased by the high point of the wire mesh, allowing the bright
plated alloy to show through. After plating, a thin coat of paint
is applied to prevent further tarnishing of the surface.
Corrosion resistance: Because the base alloy is bare steel, it is
not suitable for decorative plating on the outside. The plating
does not adequately cover the "wire-to-wire" areas, which occur at
the intersection of the wire mesh.
Decorative Wire mesh and frame components: The plating process is a
groove immersion procedure. Putting assembled components through
the electroplating process has some complications. Acid retention
in the voids of the components can cause leaks. In some controlled
situations, the plating process can be applied to wire mesh
components as long as adequate drainage is available during the
flushing process.
